I wrote a good deal over my many years in journalism, a lot of news and even more columns. Material I wrote in my capacity as an employee of the news company, which I published in company media, is, in fact, owned by the company, so I can’t post it here.

Instead, below are links to a dozen of my hundreds of columns that represent my work and style and mindset. What writing skills I possess can be found among them. How my head and heart work can be, too. I often wrote about challenging real-life situations (as caregiver for a partner dying from metastatic breast cancer, and parent of an adult child experiencing depression and alcoholism) as well as social and cultural awareness (LGBTQ+ issues, advocacy of the local arts community and social programs).
In recognition of my advocacy, over the years I was honored by the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra with its annual special recognition award, by the Plymouth Center for the Arts for outstanding support of the arts community, by the Plymouth Cultural Council for local arts advocacy, and by the South Shore Community Action Council for advocacy of its food assistance program.
My blog page, on this website, contains many posts I wrote as an indie author, which went on hold as I focused time and energy on other projects. I am now beefing up the blog with wider-ranging posts. I hope it’ll become a tasty blend of brain treats, insight and thought instigation! I will to add to this regularly, so please visit as that ramps up.
Finally, I write various content for my copywriting clients. Anything authored from early 2023 forward at Shoreline Aviation Inc.’s Newsroom page (and most other web pages) and social media are by me. Also, all of Featherstones LLC’s newsletters, found here, are ghost written by me, and all social media content is by me. You can easily search Shoreline Aviation on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and Featherstones on Facebook and Instagram.
Thanks for reading!
